For this project, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the team at Shapes and Forms to craft visual explorations for Nike’s Terrascape sneakers. Designed for the outdoors—whether for hiking trails or city streets—this model combines rugged durability with sustainable, recycled materials.
The creative challenge lay in capturing these core attributes—resilience, flexibility, and environmental consciousness—through a series of immersive 3D scenes. Each frame sought to highlight the shoe’s essence, portraying it not only as a performance-driven product but also as a thoughtful expression of modern design and purpose.

AIR BUBBLE ARCHITECTURE
Inspired by the Nike Terrascape’s signature air bubble cushioning, this series of 3D explorations reimagines its structure as sculptural forms. Merging function and form, the visuals aim to express both the shock-absorbing resilience and the poetic lightness this design brings to every step.

A SCULPTURAL EXPLORATION OF SOFTNESS AND FREEDOM
As a second exploration, the 3D study reimagined the Terrascape model with a sculptural form made of translucent, bubble-like material, encasing delicate leaves within—a visual metaphor for the softness, freedom, and natural flow the shoes bring to outdoor experiences like walking or hiking, while inspiring new visual directions that deepen the relationship between material, motion, and environment.
