MATERIAL EXPLORATIONS FOR MINI
In this second round of proposals, we explored the essence of the Mini through spherical forms — a nod to its playful, iconic spirit. Combining textures like fabric, brushed metal, and glossy paint, each sphere evoked the tactile feel and craftsmanship of the Mini Cooper. This approach highlighted the materials individually while suggesting how they unite to define the car’s unique character.

For this Mini Cooper project, led by The Mill, I had the opportunity to collaborate on the initial visual development. The campaign concept revolved around the circle—a symbol of motion, identity, and personal journey. We explored compasses and spherical forms to evoke direction, curiosity, and discovery, turning them into metaphors for finding one’s path through design.
My role focused on LookDev, 3D exploration, and R&D, crafting materials and surfaces that embodied the spirit of Mini. From textured textiles to sleek automotive paints and brushed metals, every detail was designed to add depth and emotion, aiming to connect the viewer not just with a car, but with a lifestyle—a forward-looking vision wrapped in form, color, and meaning.
